OUR STORY

The founding of First Baptist Knoxville dates back to 1843, but our story is actually much larger than that. Jesus called His first disciples with the words, “Come, follow Me” (Matthew 4:19, NIV). Since that time, billions of people, in cultures all around the world, have put faith in Jesus and followed Him. We join those generations who have gone before us in proclaiming “Jesus is Lord” and doing all that we can to help others find and follow Him.
